General Requirements

1. At least 18 years old.

2. Ability to attend virtual meetings, at least once per quarter.

3. Prepare for, and actively engage in, meetings and other Board business.

Role: Board Director — Sitting on the full Board of Directors, each member is elected by their peer Directors. Directors hold the corporation accountable and oversee our general mission and vision, as well as guiding our programmatic work. Directors hire and manage the CEO, establish an annual budget, and appoint members to committees, among other important duties.

Role: Committee Advisory Member — Our advisory members sit on focused committees that support the work of the Board by providing guidance, leadership, and expertise. Members may serve on three volunteer committees of focus: Public Policy, Fundraising, and Community. Each advisory member is appointed by the Board of Directors.
