Deceased Individuals and Memorialization

NOTICE: Memorialization is an upcoming feature that will be introduced to the platform. Creators are not eligible for memorialization at this time.

Should a content creator on the platform pass away, their account will be eligible for memorialization: a message notification will be placed on their profile and their account will be locked to further posting to secure their account.

If you have an account-owning friend or family member who passed away, you are able to memorialize their account. A memorialized account will be unable to post new content and respond to direct messages, and this serves as a way for the owners’ followers to continue to engage with them after their passing.

To memorialize an account of a deceased individual, send an email to support@nenos.one with the following information:

  • “Deceased Individual” in the subject line

  • Your username

  • The username of the account you are memorializing

  • The full name of the individual you are memorializing

  • A link to their obituary on a funeral home website or a news clipping about their passing

We may follow up with you to gather additional information to process your memorialization request. If a request has been granted, you will receive an email response to notify you of the decision and then their account will be adjusted accordingly.

Wrongful Memorialization

If your account has been incorrectly memorialized, either due to a glitch or a request from an individual, please contact us at support@nenos.one with the following information:

  • “Wrongly Memorialized” in the subject line

  • Your username

  • The email address associated with your account

Should we agree that your account has been incorrectly memorialized, we will reverse the decision and reset your account back to normal. You will receive an email confirmation of this decision. We may follow up with you to gather additional information about your request.
