FAQs for Volunteering
-
All active volunteers will need to provide at least one (1) hour of service per month, and must record these hours at the end of every month in the Reporting Form. Please also stay in communication with your Volunteer Coordinator, and abide by the Volunteer Agreement.
-
Other than that warm feeling you get from making a difference, all volunteers get exclusive, early access to upcoming updates to the app. You’ll be able to check out new features and tools before anyone else!
-
Because all of our work can be conducted remotely, you are given a lot of flexibility in your volunteer service hours. Please contact your Volunteer Coordinator to establish your schedule.
-
Depending on your volunteering role, you will be given access to platforms such as Canva, Github, or our social media platforms to help you with your service. You will be given instructions and guidelines for using these platforms; and, should you choose to discontinue volunteering, your access will be restricted.
-
If at any point you want to pause or completely step away from volunteering, please contact your Volunteer Coordinator. Even after you stop volunteering, you are still not permitted to share anything sensitive or confidential.
-
Your day-to-day questions should be handled by your Volunteer Coordinator. If you have other questions, you may contact nenos leadership. If you have any concerns or complaints you’d like to make, please contact nenos leadership. Our Board of Directors Ethics Committee will manage any complaints regarding unethical behavior.
