Reaction to Facebook Lawsuits

Press Release - For Immediate Release

TAMPA, Florida – Today, the US Attorney General, alongside dozens of state Attorneys General filed joint antitrust lawsuits against Facebook. In their court filings, they allege that Facebook has abused its dominance in the market and engaged in anticompetitive behavior, such as the acquisitions of smaller competitors like Instagram and WhatsApp.

We firmly stand in favor of any efforts to ensure a free and fair market for all businesses, large or small. It has been many years since an American social media business could compete in this space using fresh ideas and new choices. nenos commits from Day 1 to support fair business practices and oppose monopolistic behaviors that undermine the market and hurt consumers.

Big tech companies have accumulated a great deal of power that has resulted in harm to consumers and small businesses. Like the erosion of customer privacy, some of these harms are more difficult to see than others, such as the difficulty for small businesses to get a foot in the door. nenos plans to uplift its customers’ priorities: the millions of Americans who create and share special moments, discoveries, and thoughts on social media every day.

We are committed to fair, healthy competition on its platform and will welcome businesses and organizations of all sizes.
